How we check it

Data last verified: Oct 19, 2026.

Terms you will see

Client Profile Products only
USDA certificate wording for products the operation handles for other brands under those brands' own organic product profiles: the clearest sign it packs or processes for clients.
Private Label Only
Products the operation makes or packs to be sold under another company's label.
Handling
The NOP certification scope for processing, packing, and other post-harvest handling.
HPP
High-pressure processing: a non-thermal pasteurization step for juices, dips and other packaged foods.
Status effective
The date the operation's current certification status (here: Certified) took effect. A change of certifier or status resets it, so it is not a measure of how long an operation has been organic.
